So week 14 has proved to be an interesting one for Gus and has been both fun and trying for BJ and I. He giggled for the first time on Wednesday. He is also talking more interactively, I think he startles himself sometimes when he gets really loud. He is also fighting sleep, which makes for a cranky baby and a tired mommy and daddy. He will be exhausted but will fight sleep during the day and the second he gets put down in his crib wake back up - we feared early tooth cutting or an ear infection, but no signs of either, so we are going to have to go the "cry it out" route for the first time. It won't be easy, but hopefully whatever is going on with the little man will work itself out in a few days and we can return to a schedule. Wish us luck!

Grandmother just watched the Gus videos! (We watched them over and over again, by the way!) She said, "He's adorable. I can't wait to hold him this summer!" She also said, "He might be crawling by the time they get here this summer!"
